The weather sure changed, didn't it? We pulled 320/302 on STM's dyno yesterday, in the midst of the heat, with a Works TBE (w/cat), MBC, and a Buschur FMIC.

How does your car feel? Do you notice any lack of torque down low?

<grin> Yea, I was out earlier today spinning tires.

No, no cams, just the few basic mods I mentioned at 23-24PSI. We were surprised by how well the car ran. Em thinks that low rotational mass was partially responsible for the results. I recall David Buschur testing lightweight rotors on his dyno. I even searched for the thread, but couldn't find it for the life of me.

I saw your car at the shop the other day. It really looked great.

Baer 2-piece rotors on all 4 corners and 15.5lb RP-F1s with stock Advans. We have another set of Advans waiting in the wings. Once those wear out, I'd like to find a lighter tire.

This month's C&D has an interesting high-performance tire comparison. Dunlop Z1s, a forum favorite, were the number one pick. The number 2 finisher, Hankook Evos, were some 2lbs lighter. That's no small chuck of change, given the tire's location relative to the hub. I will definitely look into these when the Advans are gone.

I wish I could find that Buschur thread. I bet you could get more power to the wheels with a lighter wheel/tire combo.

Wow ... those Advans are super light ... NICE!! How much did they run you?? I always forget to factor in how much rotating mass can effect HP. My wheels are freaking 21 lbs!!
