Blake's EVO VIII Tuned @ AWD Motorsports By: DIIIRK!!!

Well it was a jam packed day today starting with Blakes Evo VIII.. The car was previously tuned elsewhere. We found that it was running 29psi on Pump & Mid 13's A/F pulling timing The whole way and knocking 7-9 counts.. Below is the baseline pull vs. The final tune.. Definitely a much safer tune with Huge gains thru the midrange as you can see.. Needless to say the customer feels much better now knowing he has nice safe tune and still gained good power all over..

mod list..

injen intake/uicp
turbo back exhaust
mbc

its scary sometimes to see the tunes that end up in some of these cars. 13's under boost and 29 psi on 93, im suprised the car made it this far. i dont normally take cars up this high in boost on 93, at 25 psi we were already making more power all the way accross the board than the baseline pull, this was at a nice 11.5 air fuel with 0 knock accross the board. the customer wanted to see what it would do with a little more boost so we gave it a try, the car had no problem with it so we left it at that. all in all, the car is much better the way it sits now.

Haha whats up!

I would've kept it at 25 PSI, but boost is addicting.

Ya I have said that a few times! Now i'm at 35lbs on stock turbo. It stopped making power at 31lbs and started just making tq. I plan to turn the boost down to 32-33lbs next week when i do a retune with my Magnus and 3in 02 housing. Going to try and keep tq below 425 to preserve my motor! Glad that AWD could help you out with a great tune.

ya 35... I shouldn't be over 31. You don't really want to keep turning boost up after you flat line but I wanted the tq!
