Good results! 445 on a DD should be about 580 hp at the flywheel.

425whp with a DD at "1.0" = ~480whp on a Dynojet.

To the original post - I suggest a Synapse BOV.

Well with 460whp which according to your calculation I should be around 520awhp DJ, I am trapping 131mph @ 3370lbs with a messed up 3rd...

Let's see the trap and the weight. Then we ll know

At what boost level? The reason I am asking is to compare power difference with my turbo, the fs635. The 62-65 I think is a bigger turbo so maybe it makes more power with less boost.

Yes, this was done on 93 octane.

It was a regular precision 6262, that was converted over to a TS 6265 by Blouch. A TS 6262 would only spool marginally less then a TS 6265 from my understanding.

aps

Mellon is using the APS twin vent on his monster build that makes 700 horse. I wonder how he gets it to hold. My 2 cents in.

Wow so Blouch now offers TS hotsides? okay if the 6262 will only spool marginally less how much more power does the 6265 make than the 6262? Also can we confirm that the hotside is 1.06?

One last question, does Blouch make TS hotsides for the 6765? and if not can they?

Thanks for the comments! I am glad we got your car running in tip top shape.

The blowoff valve is cranked all the way in and will taper upon boost no matter what we do. A forge or even better( aem ems ) and a tial will hold boost excellent with your setup!

I will never forget about our road test when that bend came up a little tooo fast for both of us.

Guys, the graph is also cut off due to the boost tapering so hard than ramping back up...We did all we could to get the graph to pull clean but the darn bov would not cooperate! The car actually made 460whp on our standard 1.0 CF but felt it was past the edge.

This car is an absolute blast! Even though we had a few issues with this custom turbo kit, it was nothing we couldn't get done 100%.

"Patience is the key to success!"

Enjoy Steve!

Something is wrong with that APS then because I have had APS's hold 32psi to 8k.

Did you put some pipe sealer around the adjustment threads?

All you need to do is use a t4 divided housing with it machined for a 62/65 turbine. It isnt anything specific to blouch. You can order the turboos this way most likely. I dont think PTE recomends it though.

There is absolutely something wrong with this bov. Most likely the diaphram.

The bov leaked at 5psi with our smoke tester. The adjustment screw is cranked all the way in. More so, there is no recirculation.

Regardless, this car is safe, making great power on our dyno for 93 octane on a bone stock bottom end. At 26psi, with Maryland 93 Octane, it drives smooth as silk on the Fic 1050cc injectors and is plain wicked at WOT plus got him all the way back home with not a single hesitation, blip, or problem.

The car has almost 60,000 orginal miles and is due on a timing belt and water pump soon. After some maintainence is done, we will be pushing the car slightly harder in the near future with some upgraded parts.

I'm pretty sure Steve enjoys how the car feels on just pump gas and almost a 60,000 mile oringal from the factory mistu motor!!!

Enjoy the car and be Safe Steve!

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked and saw that some people are wrapping the adjustment screw in teflon tape and got it to hold boost. I have really liked the APS and I want to keep it so I'll try that out and keep everyone posted.
