I have a uber crushed OEM bov in my personal Evo and it gets annoying on slight grades. When I go to Tahoe over donner pass it's actually makes for a "lively" experience on icy/slick roads when you have to give the car some opposite lock when the surge makes the back end kick out.
Ok so you know what I'm talking about. If this bov indeed can make power over a crushed IX valve AND gets rid of those conditions, I may be buying one. Any chance you can positively confirm that it does away with that annoying issue?

ps--damn you, I had no plans to touch my car for a while. Now the thought of an uprated comp wheel and this bov....gah!

Yea we have a BR HTA35R 2.3L on E85 making 557whp on our dyno that moved to the APS BOV from a Greddy and it fixed all his boost issues.

The OEM upper IC pipes work great at this level, and do look stock. He has samco couplers however.

That thing is huge.

Awesome power. I wonder if the AEM rail is what allowed the car to go to 500+ whp on a single Walbro.

Awesome, the exact setup I have been trying to plan. 2.3 with BBK-XL (can't wait until the billet is tested) and stock everything. At least stock on the outside with some nice porting on the inside

I would have thought you might have been able to squeak out a couple more psi, but I assume the pump issue is your limit?

How are those BlueMax 1250's? I want to run pretty much the same setup down the road, and want to make sure I have enough headroom. I don't want to get the 1250s and find out down the road I need the 1450s. Or get the 1250s and run almost 100% idc.

Thanks,

-Will

Looking at the first graph of the Beta vs Regular BBK, it appears the Beta spools faster, am I reading this right?

the BETA is on a built 2.3

2.0 had the original

it will offset slightly the other way if they are both 2.3's

awesome build. awesome results for stock appearing. do these BM 1250s have any idle/ drivability issues? and was the pressure relief modded on the walbro?

The 2.0L vs 2.3L overlay I posted where both with the BBK Full (non BETA) in 3rd gear.

Here is another 2.0L vs 2.3L overlay on a different Evo with the BBK Full (non BETA):

The FIC BlueMax's take a little more time to dial in then other injectors but they seem to be pretty solid now.

Walbro is unmolested.

That and the AMS fuel return line are the only differences fuel wise between this and the other evos that run out of pump at less power so most likely.
