BBK Full on 91 oct - 370whp

New record for a BBK Full on 91 on our dyno.

2006 Evo MR

Mods:

TBE Ti 3" exhaust no cat
Walbro FP
PTE 800cc injectors
CBRD BBK Full (ported)
Apexi cone filter
GM 3 port solenoid
Tubular 02 housing
FMIC
IC Pipes
HKS mivec cams
Sun Hyperforce ignition system
GST Custom dyno tune
91 oct
Stock block/head
24.5 psi peak

This broke the BBK Full 91 oct record on our dyno, which was previously 367whp

370 whp / 326 wtq

The car had a FPgreen on it before and the BBK Full was the ONLY change. With the FPgreen the car made 332whp.

what kind of duty cycle were you seeing on the injectors? Awesome numbers, I may be visiting you for a tune soon.

With only HKS cams....thats really impressive. Did he have the old style green or new HTA one. Have you guys had any customers come to you with the HTA green. I'm really between those 2 (And in the very close distance the FP, Red, Black, and next BBK (?) from CBRD

Yea pretty darn good for HKS cams.

It was the OG Green.

Great numbers! I cannot wait to see what the BBK-B does on your dyno, Bryan. I'm just really curious to see the trade off once that billet wheel is in the B.

Good job as always!

Great power on 91, which FMIC was used? Think that or the ignition helped a bit on this one?

So sad you guys don't get decent 92 or 93 octane out there, these numbers could be considered average instead of above average

Thank God we have E85 now.

I believe the FMIC was ETS.

Man, I'm very excited for the BBK Full and the BBK-B numbers when it's available.

All in all, very impressive!

I'm looking at a similar set-up. (I've been emailing back and forth with Greg at GST for advice and he has been super helpful) I'm curious to know what would you have done differently parts wise?

No disrespect to the owner of the evo that you guys tuned, I'm just trying to learn from experts. I intend to run 91 octane in my DD/Tracked evo, so it will need a mildly aggressive tune.

FWIW, this my current parts list (critique, advice is more than welcome):

Walbro 255 lph Fuel Pump
Kelford 272 Camshafts
Supertech Dual Springs + Retainers
ARP Head Studs
AMS LICP
AMS FMIC
Megan Racing O2 Housing (Coated)
Stock Manifold (Ported/Polished/Coated)
