A street car that you race? Or a Race car that you drive on the street?

What's in a title?

Either way the car is not comparable to what "we" the customer drive. Do you have A/C on your car? Bumper beams? Sound deadening? ACD? Stock driveshaft? Full size Brembo brakes? yet somehow after reading your posts I'm led to think that I too can ran run 10.0x's on a stock shortblock. Misleading? I think so.

Look no farther that Markymark's STM built stock evo8 car that ran an 11.0. Oh yeah... total street car. I know Mark from the 1st gen neons we came from... that car was defintely stripped 'n lightened... and is misleading to your average customer who thinks they can easily achieve 11.0's on a stock 8 turbo.

Again most of what you wrote is wrong. Our car weighed in at about 3400 lbs. with me in it when it went 10.0 on the stock motor. Easily achievable by any rs with driver. We had the heaviest evo out there (SSl) to start with and it still has a lot of the stock parts in it. Its nice driving it to dinner still having HID's power windows/locks and heat.

When folks put this much effort, time, money, and expertise into building a car, and soon thereafter see that same car used as a public pawn, it doesn't seem out of line to ask for an equally public explanation. The impact on the community makes it even more relevant. Lumping this in with some mindless vendor battle is ridiculous.

So Emery,
You're saying that your 6262 powered Blue STM shop Evo that ran this 9.60@156...

Has A/C,
Has Bumper beams front and rear,
Has Sound deadening,
Has the factory ACD and pump,
Has the stock driveshaft,
Has steel doors,
AND has the full size factory Brembo brakes?

Again... Misleading Emery.
