The Shop and Junior Tune:FP HTA86+ Pump Gas + cold = Big Power!!

Just came back from another GREAT Night at “The Shop” & “Junior Tune”. I know I haven’t posted results or updates for a while.. but I decided to see what the HTA86 could do with the VDR and this cold weather. I was totally inspired by Kouzman and his accurate results on the Dyno Jet vs VDR. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ts-inside.html.

So Jimmy and Junior decided to see what the car really puts down on the “Roads”. Boost was set to 29 psi and some Shell 93 octane, This is the Quest for 140 mph Pump Gas Full weight Evo.

MODS:
FP HTA86 w\.82 AR

1mm Oversized Turbo Trix Racing Cylinder Head
2.0 liter Turbo Trix Built
BF 272 Cams
Driven Innovation Intake w\75mm TB
AEM EMS w/ 1200cc PTE injectors
HKS DLII Ignition
Buschur IC w/ THE SHOP ICP

Full Race Manifold
The Shop 3inch Complete Exhaust
The Shop Built
Junior Tuned

Here is a 3rd gear pull on the road w/ Junior tuning and logging

All I have to say is the car feels GREAT in this cold weather and the VDR just backed it. The car drives great over all, starts with not having to touch the gas pedal and is just smooth all around. Thanks Jimmy and Junior!

The worst part is I have to wait another month before I go to the track and get kick out after my first pass.

That has to be the highest WHP pump gas GT3586 ever.

You are, however, using -cough- 1.110 correction factor -cough- in "cold" weather.

Looking good though!

With .917 (BUSCHUR) correction it still makes 599whp/445tq
Also we cant forget that the car has trapped -cough- 137-138mph with 50-75 less whp -cough- on 93 already...

Freddy you did a great job getting the car near mint before the tweaks today, so you deserve just as much credit for the power she is making.
I cant wait to get it to the track!

I agree man. Just poking some fun. The car is making serious power nonetheless.

Thanks Guys! This cold weather sure helps all around. The Buschur FMIC didn't even go up a degree during the entire pull as you can see in the AEM log.

700+awhp with only 29psi only 93 octane...seems unreal. It usually takes 40psi and much better octane to handle that pressure. You guys must be on to something good.

Damn trapped 137 on the old setup? Nice!

I'm having some serious boost withdrawal. I can't wait to get my damn car back!
