nah, for your "application" I think this setup with a 100 shot would be the best of both worlds

I like the small frame turbo but your right there nothing like the top end power of a bigger turbo..That's why i'm gonna change my setup to a 6262 the feelings is sick over these turbo's,but for a daily driver and a fast spool street sweeper then the red or the black is king..

I'm getting a 2.4L SBR engine built (threw a rod) and I'm wondering what parts from the 4G63 are interchangeable with the 4G64? I'm thinking about buying a 4G63 OEM oil pump and OEM water pump.

A few more answers. The car has an open wastegate dump O2 housing (stock FP internal wastegate), I don't know what brand.
The SBR 2.4L Stage III shortblock lists on their website for $3,300, no core required.
Almost everything from the 4g63 block directly transfers over, front cover/oil pump, crank position sensor, etc.... You can get a spacer from SBR to make the water pump work along with a larger timing belt and adjustable cam gears to accommodate the taller deck height of the 4g64 block. You can use a stock head gasket but it needs to be machined to accommodate the larger bore. For an Evo 9 you need to have SBR or your mechanic setup a mivec oil feed.
