Mellon Tuning EVO 9 2.3L 35R 93 oct 541awhp vs old 2.0 setup
#23
Sorry to drag this one up but i run a similar set-up with RC 1000cc , double pumper and fpr set to 3.5bar . What hp do you think i would run out of injector on 93 pump alone?

Looks like the GSC cams did the trick.. nice.
is this car still running stock throttle body?
Im curious as i have a fairly similar setup.
Regarding the virtual dyno, what numbers are these comparative too ie: Dynojet, Mustang?
Those Vmax speeds of 230mph+ are impressive, what driveline upgrades does the car have to achieve those speeds?

dynojet, but this is when I was using DLL which read a little low. Now I use Virtual Dyno which is exactly like a dynojet.
I didn't write down any driveline upgrades he had. Most likely clutch, tranny and tranfere case were upgraded but the rest was stock.
that would be my own car at 600awhp on 93 when it was on the .63 at 9:1 compression and again on the .82 at 10:1

From my previous post.....
Your response to me....
My point is now proven as he runs 29psi and clearly benefited from the larger a/r.
While Mellon did well using the .63 a/r, that does not mean the larger a/r wouldn't have benefited him as well. You should see top end gains going to a larger A/R. A reduction in the flow restriction within your exhaust will provide benefit regardless of boost. However, the gains may be more significant at higher hp levels/higher boost. The expected gains will really be dependent on whether the a/r is the limiting factor at this point.
