I just had a customer PM me about the GREEN HTA i sold him and stated its the PERFECT turbo for his application.. he said it spools 300rpm slower but driving the car you would NEVER know it isnt a IX turbo.. Hes going to make a thread shortly with his dyno dynamics results..

Aren't you convinced yet? just because there are like 10 to 1 more dynos on BBL doesn't make it better than the HTA green. I am not saying the BBK full is a bad or lesser turbo, I am saying no one gave credit to the HTA green just because they haven't seen the dynos. FP makes great turbos folks.

Just need to give it a little time and youll see the HTA GREEN will prove itself.. The BBK had quite the head start on sales.. now there is a another solution and it KICKS ***..

would be happy with either BBK full or HTA Green for my needs: a quick street car and some occassional track days. Already running E85 on a lightly modified 03 VIII (M2 cams, head studs, TBE, LICP). 330 whp/wtq on GST's mustang dyno. 400whp on that dyno would make my day. Still amazed everyday this is on a 2.0L 4-banger.

I will most likely go back by the end of the week and put the larger intake and also the FPR and see how much more we can squeeze out of it.

It really depends on what you want... Honestly I don't think anyone should get a HTAGreen unless you are autox. If you are ever planning on beating a B20 Vtec you need to be looking towards the future with a BBK-XL, FP Red, or FP Black. Personally if all I had was 93 I would go with a Black and shoot for 450hp pump all the way to 7.5k

That's an opinion but honestly I don't autocross and I had a choice from all the turbos from BBK to Green, Red, Black. I chose the Green and I am very happy with it. I'm sure the green would come close to 430 to 440 on 93 all the way to redline and not drop off. It all depends on your supporting mods.

Check this thread out as well.

What the difference between the old green and the new HTA green? Is there any power difference between the two?
