Well before this turns into a dyno war, I would expect that your mods on our Dynojet would be 295-305 for a stock cam VIII. The most I have seen from a stock cam VIII where I could confirm both stock cams and stock 2.0L was a 323whp on 92 octane in my sister in law's 05. I have had a few that did 328-330 but I know one of them we pulled out an HKS 264 set and the other one was not a stock motor and had some headwork (but stock cams oddly). The other ones at that level were on cold days where corrected numbers brought them down into the 315-320 range but I never saw those cars in summer.

ok cool i appreciate the info. So if you were able to run 24psi on a stock fuel system without any issue what was the point of my injectors and pump? Other than the fact that im sure my duty cycle is half of what a stock fuel system would be.

i just bought comp 272 and scheduled a re tune so hopefully they can take it up a notch. Also ive heard and read that i don't need new valve springs for the comp 272s any thoughts while ive got someone who knows theres **** responding. Also i shouldnt need a tune to drive with the cams right? i mean i know to get the most of the cams i do.

my a/f is set at 11.2 wot so i should have some wiggle room for the cams i would think before the tune. I cant get my tune done till april 18th but i have the cams now so idk if it is better to just wait to install them right before the tune or if i can have some fun with them now.

ohh ok i got ya. I was told by boostin that 1000cc would be just enough for e85 but not enough to really do to much so it would limit what they could do with the tune.
