Evo 9 4G63 mivec FP Black (90Pump=481hp/ Q16=613hp)

Dynoed my car over the weekend
Made 481hp/389ft-lb on straight 90 octane pump gas no meth
Made 613hp/517ft-lb on Q16
Tuned the car myself and was dynoed on a dynojet
See mods in signature

Pump gas run was done at 25psi
For the Q16 run the boost came on at 35psi and fell back to 31psi
The Black came with 18psi actuator, manual boost controller was used, had issues with my electronic boost controller. Will go back once the electronic boost controller is sorted out

Sick setup man! I'm sure you are uber happy with the results. I will be doing a black on my LR2.4 once it gets built. You have great pump numbers on only 90oct

Want to tell me why not? We can get 30psi on a 2.0 and 28psi on a 2.4... I'm almost positive you can get 25psi on 90oct. Also it really depends on the timing. Running lower timing allows you to runner higher boost but it is better to find the happy "medium"

ture very true .. finding the happy medium is important ..it doesnt make sense to run more boost with little gains... you have to know when to stop.
