93 Octane vs E85 Retune! Justin's Evo RS @ STM

Sunday ended up being a crappy, rainy night and ruined our plans for a cruise. But while we were all at the shop, bored, and looking for something fun to do, we happened to have a 5 gallon pail full of fresh E85 and a white Evo RS begging to drink it!

So on the dyno she went! Staying with the exact same set up as the 93 octane tune (which previously made 413 HP and 333 TQ) Emery worked his magic and pulled out 446 HP and 383 TQ, gaining 33 HP and 50 TQ... and there is definitely room to go up, but the 1050cc injectors are just maxed out at 110% duty cycle.

Maybe some bigger injectors and a double pumper might put this car a little closer to that sweet 500 stock block spot.

For those of you not familiar with this build, here is a brief mod list:

STM T3 Tubular Exhaust Manifold
PTE Non Ball Bearing 5557SP Turbo
STM Upper and Lower Aluminum Intercooler Pipes
Exedy Triple Cerametalic Clutch
STM Clutch Fork Stop
Kelford 272 Cams
Supertech Dual Springs & Retainers
Buschur Cat Back Exhaust
Buschur FMIC
STM Intake
Buschur Ported Throttle Body
AEM EMS Tuned By Emery
26 psi out of fuel, for now.

(Here is the old 93 octane dyno chart)

Welcome to the E85 club, Justin!

We are going to start with a double pumper. I have a feeling that will be enough to get the car to 30 psi and thats about all this turbo is gonna take.

I have heard a wide range of numbers from 500-570 wheel
even on some sites. We will see how much more is left in it after we throw in the double pumper and injectors.
