very impressive!

Looks like I'm going to think about a dumped O2 and a new set of cams! making the same power as my combo at 12psi less boost is just insane!

Congrats Mikey, this is an absolutely kick-*** combination! trust me, I know all about "the grin"

Once again, it looks like the ER team exceeded expectations!

When we ordered my pistons we just told them to make the valve pockets large enough for the lift we wanted. Thats all you have to do

Nice numbers! The Block is a strong one if it is still together at 527tq

Good work.
Thanks David. We took the time to make sure that everything was right and the right combos were on the car. It really does make a difference than just throwing **** on. I have no one to thank but Aaron for all his hard work and help.

I knew HKS cams were crappy but not that crappy lol.

Great work english racing.
I wouldn't call the HKS cams crappy. They just don't breathe enough for a 2.4 with a decent sized turbo, and as Mike has shown, they leave A LOT on the table when the engine could be moving so much more air.

Here is what the final numbers were for the night. We stopped at 36psi because the car was not making dick for power. It became really apparent that the stock non-ported turbine housing was beginning to choke right around 30-32psi. We started running into big backpressure problems and EGTs. We decided to stop and revisit the dyno with the new housing than push the car any harder with the backpressure we were dealing with. It just would not have been worth it. The car still has a lot left in it and the final and last dyno queen numbers will come out shortly.

The other thing, at 36psi I'm only holding 27psi out the top. That is another problem that we are going to be fixing over the next week. The flapper will be coming out of my new housing and 38mm MVS will be going on.

I think with the housing, that will fix the backpressure problems we are seeing and the external wastegate will help keep the boost from falling off so much up top.

Indeed we did. Just a few more things to change before we really see what the Black will do. We are taking baby steps but getting closer to the 40psi pull

Funny, I was on my way to my hotel last night and rapped it out in 3rd and the car slides across the road spinning. I could handle keep it in the lane. I have not had the chance to do a 4th yet but I hope I get traction in 4th. I def need some bigger rims and tires. These 18x8 225s are worthless.

Thanks John. We were very happy with the car till we started to run into backpressure problems.

Jeff Bush did my port work and yes stock valves. Block is not O-ringed.
