CBRD's BBK-B.. 457whp/365wtq on 93..

This is another test car..

Highest Stock housing, Stock Block 93 car ever on our dyno...

running at just under 30psi.... we apparently are out of fuel pump (walbro 255)... as with 1000's with lean spool disabled we are targeting extremely rich AFR's up top to still creep up to 11.8 ish...

Anyway, here are the mods, this car gained 92 whp over the tomei turbo at 27.5 lbs, the only change was the turbo and injectors.

CBRD fmic, CBRD LICP, CBRD Radiator, CBRD BBK-B, CBRD Tune
JMFAB manifold, invidia o2 housing, tback (2.75" downpipe)
1000cc PTE, walbro pump
Perrin intake, 3 port perrin solenoid, stock coils and plugs
stock intake manifold and tbody

these are third gear pulls, showing 20psi around 3750 rpm...

Ill do a fourth gear pull when I retune it at 27psi... I am not going to leave the stock block at 30psi for the street, but we were asked to run it at that boost level

cheers

overlayed with tomei, only change was having to upgrade the injectors and the BBKB

please note using the same start and stop speed, the pull took 1.5 seconds less with the new turbo

ill have the owner post his thoughts.

I can't wait to hear his remarks, especially in regards to response.

Looks very strong!

8end24, pull #2, conducted on 2010/03/24-25, had a similar cylinder head, cams& fuel used, difference being ams vs cbrd fmic & a few minor parts @ similar boost.....bbk full vs. bbkb

is it possible to put up that compare?

Wow, the gains over the Tomei are awesome. Guess they put too much R&D into making a cool compressor housing. What is the flow rate on the BBK-B?

Nevermind, found the flow in the other thread.

Those look like some hefty gains with only minimal loss in spool... The B looks very promising... I'd like to see this bad boy running ethanol.

Keep up the good work gents.

Like i was telling you yesterday chad. Im very very impressed with this turbo. The curve on it is awesome and was very consistent from car to car with the graphs you showed me and with what i saw myself. Making me think hard about going back to a small set up
