It's actually a thermal dispersent (TDC) on the UICP. It wouldn't really be needed on the intake pipe but hell it's not even needed on the UICP to begin with I actually just sold another ETS UICP that I had lying around with Tial and it was brushed SS. My new ETS short route Magnus pipe will prolly remain brushed SS so maybe that won't bug you.

Just for my info,... what and where is this NSS Roval? Is that a closed circuit road course, a naval vessel, or a public byway?

Do it... Do it... You know you are going too! It's really not that bad. I mean it screams but still not as loud as some of the hondas rolling around town.

yeah, the graph is busy, but easy to follow.

gains are from Pr / back pressure reductions imo.

i didnt realize what a torque **** i was until i swtiched turbo's......

TORQUE IS GOOD
Aby, graph looks great. I'm glad you are happy. The Black is an amazing "little" turbo.

Good comparo, that is basically what our local dyno has showed. If you don't go higher than 30psi, stick with a smaller turbo because the black isn't necessary. Once you build the motor and go to like 35psi, the gains will be well worth it.

I had the black and sold it after 2 months.. The BBK wins in my book! The black just dint do it for me, to much lag and not enough tq imo. Good comparison tho!

Mod list
Stock 9 bov crushed to hell
Muse UICP
Ets v2 Licp
fp black
fp intake
map stage 3 head
buschur turbo back
65mm buschur tb
kelford 272's
comp stage 4 clutch
map ported coated exhaust mani
buschur ported IM
ebay o2 housing
double pumper
E85
pte 1000's
Ebay fmic
springs and retainers

I could only make 430 whp 370 tq on a dyno dynamics.
Im on a stock 9 turbo and I know it will put down around 360 370 on this dyno.
I was chapped that all I could make was 430 with a black so i got rid of it.

If anyone is interested, my stock turbo Evo 9 with similar supporting mods and E85 on the same dyno hits peak torque at just under 3500 rpm and max whp at 6100 rpm, so the Black powerband appears to be shifted about 1000 rpm to the right (at least for this level of supporting mods).

Excellent. Congratulations on keeping the car fun. Soo many are power hungry blind they miss when they take a step backwards.
