forced fed performance 6262

THat's why we kept the tq low with a flat smooth ramp..Fine there are plenty of people running these power levels on the stock block tq plays a major role with keeping it together..people go crazy with tq but 400 wtq is the limit.

I know, it seems like a great way to stick with the stock block will still making a large hp number. I'd like to copy this kind of setup for my car but we only have 91 here so I may have to turn to add meth to max out the stock block.
What did you pay for the turbo kit from Turbo Trix if you don't mind me asking? I don't see this kit on their website. I know ETS has a great price if you go with the 6262 and the value-manifold. I've seen people say they cracked it though.
How do think the 6262 compares to the HTA3582 and 86? I seem to see more people making bigger numbers on pump with the 6262 than the Garrets with simple setups. Maybe that's just because the cheaper 6262 attracts more people not interested in going all out with a built motor and exotic fuels.

I think I paid around 4,100 shipped for the kit complete the manifold they offer is very unique looking and the kit fits amazing. As far as comparing it to the other turbos the 6262 will make more top end and more whp maxed out but the hta 3586 is a great turbo too and spools about 200 rpms faster. But if you want a harder hitting turbo and a slower ramp up for the tq but peaks better the 6262 is your choice here are some pics of the kit..
-Equal-length stainless manifold made from sched. 10 bends. The manifold is Tig welded and properly back-purged.
-6262 dbb Turbo
-Oil and water lines
-Polished Lower IC pipe
-Stainless o2 housing
-Tial 44mm wastegate
-Stainless Dumptube
-3" downpipe
-Hi-flow Fan

Here at the flow rates
HTA3582 is a 59mm inducer. 70lb/min w/ a 61mm turbine wheel.
6262 is 62mm inducer. flows 72lb/min, and has a 62mm turbine wheel.
HTA3586 flows 75lb/min. This is what it says on their site. This 62mm inlet / 86mm exducer HTA™ wheel extends mass flow well beyond 75 lb/min with observed power output...
Forced Performance always under rates their turbos.
If you doubt these numbers, ask mike at AWD which one makes more power and spools faster....

Are you sure about this? I know that I have read on numerous occasions that the 86 flows more and will make more over all power. I hate when people misinform other people.

The 6262 flows 76Lb per min the 6262 and the 3586 are like twins very similar..The 6262 makes more power at the end of the day how come mike used it to go 9's instead of the 86??
