Boost creep is caused by exactly the opposite of what you are saying. The larger turbine wheel REDUCES backpressure making it EASIER for the exhaust to go through the turbo increasing boost than going through the wastegate. The black lowers exhaust backpressure, it does not increase it. When turbine backpressure gets too high it will push open the WG and not allow you to make more boost, not the other way around.

Get rid of that Tanabe muffler. It necks down to 2.4" inside the muffler section. I had the Tanabe Concept G Blue and its supposed to be 80mm which is 3.15", but in actuality its 2.4". I think this might be hurting your power gains too.

Hun. I have this and i never knew that. Im gonna have to look at mine, u got me curious.
