depending on the turbo size/efficiency... octane... that will limit your boost potential. Typically, on a larger turbo the threashold for higher boost on lower octane is raised.

as for your buddy's supra... the comparison is irrelevant. The two motors are nothing alike and behave differently. Supras will make more hp on the same turbo at lower boost for obvious reasons. The same reasons why you you'll see a billet6765 on a supra at 30psi... but on an evo at 40psi. He's comparing apples to oranges.

Chris excellent job w/ this tune! 570whp on 91 octane is mindblowing.

yep, many people get hung up on the boost numbers too much. 30psi isn't going to make the same power on a 4 banger evo as it will on a 6 cylinder supra with a different turbo.
