Mellon Tuning - BR HTA 3582R .82 * 91 octane @ 32 psi - Josh´s Evo 8
Name: Josh
EVO 8 6-speed MR
Double Fuel Pump
RC 1000cc injectors
91 octane @ 32 psi
BR Race FMIC
Driven Innovation intake
Hypertune throttle body
BF 272 Camshafts
BR HTA3582R .82 tubular Turbo
BRstage 3 2.0 liter
BRstage 3 head
VD 570awhp/450tq
We were able to finish Josh´s Evolution VIII on the Buschur Racing HTA 3582R.82 @ 32 psi on some 91 octane fuel , the results were 570awhp / 450Tq .
This is a Good example on what a Big turbo can do on Low octane fuel
Josh awesome Results man ... Welcome to The MellonTuning Army !!!!!!!!!!!

I've never seen that amount of boost run on 91 either. Is the car running any timing...? You guys have other cars running less boost on pump 93. Whats the secret? Is this a typo?

32 psi is obviously fine if the IAT are low - efficient range of the turbo + a great FMIC.... PV=nRT .... If you were running a stock Evo8 or 9 turbo at 32 psi, you'd be pushing a lot of hot air and pinging like mad on 91. Big turbo, different story...

p.s. the timing isn't bottomed out on this car at all, it's running about as much as a stock turbo cars on 93 octane.
this is the same car but when it had a stock shorty and stock head at the same pressure.
