Just stick to one dyno, I have only been racing for 15 years but I have been on 4 different dynojets with the same car no changes not even in the gas, there was a 20% difference form the highest to lowest (480 whp to 580 whp), No correction, STD, weather similar, blah blah blah..

Thanks, nice looking dyno graph!!!
Our tach pick up broke. We ordered a new one and it has yet to come in from DynoJet. I will pull up another graph tomorrow with RPM and over lay it so we can see. I am curious too. Having driven it on the street, the car has power everywhere.

Aaron, I tried bring it it a few different ways.. I always bring in the e85 cars rich 10.6-11.0 toward peak TQ and then lean out accordingly. It only does it on teh dyno though, probably the load if anything. On the street it just goes

yea it did make 804 on a DynoDynamic@ 1.20 correction on a cold night with q16.. I bet this car in 30-40 degree weather will make 800whp on the e85..

It lives on big time.. I was happy to hear it was coming back to me from the new owner. I missed tinkering with it.

Yea I wanted your car. I bet my *** would get kicked if I showed up at home with a white noisy evo 9. Lets get a retune of your beast going and pick up some low end.

Actually the wife just saw this as I typed.. She is in agreement of said beat down.

Their was allot of hatred saying it was stupid and a waste and some local Honda tuners said no way it would make more power than race gas blah blah! Even to the fact that one tuner said I went to college and majored in physics and did a thesis on e85 and I know what I'm talking about. Now this same tuning shop and tuners are tuning on e85 and putting out more hp than they ever did before. Go figure! Thier Honda guys they allready know everything! Lol! But good stuff!

I like E gas better then race gas.. I would rather make a little less whp then VP Import and have the extra 100s in my pocket.

Petey!!! If you drove this beast one of 2 things would happen.. Lots of broken drivline, or some pretty astounding track time
I will review the logs and send you some updates.. Time to get to the 120s on the 9 turbo and TBE .. Although 118 is pretty good

Oh man, wait till you start using E98, that's my answer to VP Import. I run two fuel systems, the primary runs on 93 in vac and the secondary with e98 comes on in positive pressure. It's awesome, anywhere and everywhere I go I'm at full tilt and can stop at any gas station to keep on cruising!

Impressive car... Can we get a graph with rpm, afr, and boost?

I just now saw your signature. Made me laugh. Props.

So it would be better to run e98 than c16 for a race gas tune?

Thats right it was a dyno dynamics in colder weather. We have gone back and forth on what makes more power, Q16 and E85. Both are oxygenated, both make excellent power. It seems Ethanol normally makes more though.

Its still alot either way

My dump tube melted a strap, luckly it held for the run and snap before we started the next pull, snap on the jerk to start rolling in 1st.

Open dumps + dynos = fail

open dumps + street = fun

Wow in the Honda world it's rare to see E85 tunes but it seems Evo's do it like there's no tomorrow ha! Nice numbers I've heard it's hard to start a car sometimes on E85? How bad is it?
