stock block fp red AMS tuned pump gas

First and for most i want to thank Mitch McKee from AMS performance he went above and beyond answering all my questions and taking into consideration what i wanted with the car. A previous tuner started my tune on 90 octane and an E85 tune who left me high and dry with a half tuned car. (didnt answering any of my calls, emails etc). so i called mitch and he got started right away got everything finished. A few months later i moved to germany and called on Mitch again to retune the car on 93 Octane. Heres what we ended up with on the VDR, graph is Mitchs pump tune vs. previous tuners E85 just to compare, temps are around 50 degress outside so great for numbers.

492awhp/414lbtq

mods:
ported fp red
PPI ported exhaust mani
PPI ported intake mani
megan o2 housing
TBE 3 exhaust
AMS intercooler
ETS piping
GSC S2 cams
FIC 1150cc
walbro single pump

i think thats about it for performace mods

car is super smooth to drive and feels like a damn rocket!!

What size is your AMS intercooler?

Graph shows you pushing 28psi right. Those are very high numbers for a red on 93 octane. I think they are the highest I have ever seen on 93. I'm not too familiar with VDR but maybe something is off there.

AMS 4 inch intercooler, Mitch would have to chime in as far as the graph goes.

interesting, looks like more boost and 100lbs of weight was added to the pump gas run, also the turbo is spooling up much better. Did you fix some mechanical issues?

The only reason I mention the high numbers is because I have been doing fp red on 93 octane research the past week trying to compare them to the new bbk-b, and the highest I was able to find on 93 was 470 running speed density.

Who knows though, maybe 20hp isn't that unbelievable? Awesome numbers man.

most of our 93 octane fp red customers do 433awhp on average with the highest doing 450...I'd say you've got some good fuel there if you're doing nearly 500.

This is on the dyno jet setting and I normally use the Mustang setting. The car runs so well at 27-28 I dont think we need to turn it down.

The boost control settings for PSI based boost were off from the other tuner, hence the spool increase.

490 on 93 octane is fantastic results. maybe even a record. as posted above 470whp was the highest I have seen. most fall in the 420-450whp range.

I bet that lower pipe made a little difference : )

The difference between the injen and the ETS pipe is night and day. The injen has such a small piping diameter. Great results!
