Great numbers on 91 oct. , love these type of results since the pump gas we have in my country has a very low oct. rating, no E85 no 93oct, whit 91 its easier for me to relate. How does it feel ? Does it spool too quick? Driveability?

It spools almost as quick as stock, but pulls harder of course. It is a very streetable turbo, not laggy like bigger turbos (but those produce more power). I chose this turbo mainly for its quick response since my car is a daily driver.

I'm going to go with this turbo as well. I might just get s1's and a tune with stock motor/tranny. tq is produced super fast which is what is fun on the street from what ive learned. large frame turbos are just not built for zippy street driving

That's too crazy for me haha! I don't need a dyno queen, I need a functional and reliable car!

If I can DD the stock turbo at 26, I think the HKS can do 30 no problem.

Great results!!

Is there any reason you went with the Kelford cams over the new HKS 274/278 cams? Do you think there would have been any different results with the HKS cams, such as an even faster spool? Or do you think the Kelfords may be even, but provide more top end power? I am curious because I have to choose cams for my stock 8 turbo and then want to switch to the HKS turbo.

What bov are you running with the HKS turbo?

I actually ran both cams. The Kelfords definitely gave me more top end, but the HKS had better midrange, although it wasn't that far off from the Kelfords. Not to mention I like the idle loping of the Kelfords lol... The HKS cams sound almost like stock. I'm running the stock IX BOV.
