he got used to the car having false knock under 4000rpm so even when I fixed that he still starts his pulls later than I would like out of habit. It may also be because he doesn't like waiting for boost when he's at 2500rpm

It's a beast of a turbo, I'm tempted to go this route too but I haven't maxed the HTA3586 out yet.

So he was running BF272s on the stock head and short block before? I had always understood that there was a piston-to-valve clearance issue doing that.

Josh bought an AEM Meth kit and also FIC 2150cc injectors to go with his twin fuel pump setup. We're working the boost up and tweaking the tune. right now it's at 17psi doing short pulls. We hope to have some final numbers in the coming week if everything goes to plan. It's a remote tune so it takes a little longer to get those log files back from him.
