I would expect peak torque to come on sooner w/ a 2.4L & Black. What's causing the big power drop off after 6k? (boost/timing?)

I would say a little premature on the posting. Spool looks good but it falls off up top. Can't wait to see some final results

currently the car is running the near single digits pump gas timing map, once we get the boost/afr finalized we'll see how it likes the added timing. At this tq level I'm being told the car is roasting the tires through 2nd gear. This is being tuned via email btw.

That torque must hit like a bag of bricks.

yep, I've driven a few 500+tq cars with small frame turbos (red/black) and they are hands down the most fun on 4 wheels...when you exit a corner they'll light up the tires, just absolutely wicked on a twisty road.

I WAS really confused by why this car is not making a TON more power, until I saw that you are only running 32 psi. I'll bet if you take it up to 40 psi, you'll gain another 80 - 100 whp .

I LOVE how this car is ~ 300 ft lbs + from ~3500 rpm on. With a 2.4, nice cams and all the other nice goodies this car has, I would expect an easy 550 - 600 whp car and a bit stronger tq curve.

yep, I think there's quite a bit more in it but I'm afraid the meth/pump mix is going to limit us pretty soon. If it were e85 or c16 I'm sure we would get all the FP Black has to offer out of it. I'm waiting for more logs from the customer currently.
