Nobody is comparing your car to a shop car that I saw unless you are comparing your evo to a shop car. Either way, my post was made to give an example of an HTA 86 making 700+whp on a mustang dyno in direct response to your questioning of its feasibility:

That being said, I'm not arguing either, just making sure everyone is in the same boat or as close to it as possible.

I have a very similar build to yours as well pizzaman but I'm running the HTA 3794 at the moment but might run a custom T3 turbo from Spyros over at Extreme Tuners in Greece.

Well the two the op posted are probally me and Reese tuning being Boone jump in yet to say where the data came from. And spyros turbo will out flow any t3 turbo here by allot. That my friend I agree.

I think to show the true potential of the 67 you need to be revving higher than 8500.

Nevermind I guess Reese is at sea level. I recalled him dynoing at altitude but that may have been at a different shop.

I agree with that statement. We only reved to 8500 do to we beat the record on that Dyno. We were just hanging out thier and going for the record. But it is what it is.

Lol, I was going to comment on your initial response and correct you, but you beat me to it.

I think both turbos are great. But for a guy like me (broke army kid going thru college), the PTE 6765 will get the job done and give me the numbers I want for almost half the price.

Yes, it may lack a bit of efficiency in the mid range area, but if you're trying to build a street monster like myself, pizzamanevo8 and others alike, once you're in boost, you are golden.
To make good power with a 6765, you would have to shift your power curve,
ie. from your average big turbo set up of 5500-8500 to 6200-10000. (which is another reason why I am staying 2.0L)

I am planning on draggin my evo, and the 6765's power range is so high, lets just hope I stay in my power band. and of course not "granny shiftin' and double clutchin' like I should" . lol

p.s I don't double clutch, or granny shift =P

Wow 5500 rpms until you get power...that might take some getting used to. Although I'll see how well i adjust to the 6262 and go from their.....I would like to feel how hard the "kick" is once the power comes on with a HTA or a 6765.

Paging mr. Bradley! Can we have your insight on the 86? Aaron you know I'm not one to argue with your results!

I'm supposed to be hearing from spyros tomorrow on a possible T3 turbo that I might run.
