How much power can a evo 8 turbo make?

Stock injectors on a SD car will go static at 380-385whp on a DJ. The best I have ever seen was 393 but that was a blip and not repeatable. I understand what you are talking about as far as keeping backpressure in the turbine housing down but as 03 pointed out, you are past what the injectors can support for whp.
As far as the VIII turbo making that power consistently without turbo failure, yes that is certainly possible-

no they won't even @ 65 pounds of fuel pressure Afr's will be going into the 12.5-12.8 range I really can't keep them under 12 at anything over 5900rpm. Sure I could set the timing to 3 or 4 degrees in the 5 to 5500 range turn off the knock sensor feedback off and I'm sure it would pick up 30 hp or so in those areas and the little ramp at the end would be gone, unfortunatly it's 30 degrees outside (would run out of fuel at prob. 5600) and snow, otherwise I would do it. The pulls were done in warmer weather around Thanksgiving. I have plenty of partial pulls @ part throttle with no ramp ups, it's all a time vs engine rpm thing I really don't think VD cares whether it's a evo scan or a aem log. I log everywere I go, here's one, 80% throttle,me and my brother in the car(dont really like to post graphs with weight in the car makes the torque go up faster)pulled out to pass someone 4th gear accl pump clear on the o2 was at like .9 sec thats why the 10 to 1 at first. I would be more than happy to send someone a text file of a pull so they could compare. as long as I don,t get 200 requests.

took tscompusa's advice and croped the rpms on that last pull did see something funny in the rpms at around 6000 went up, down, then back up. Hey I,ll take 400-400 by 5900rpm, 57% duty cycle, 25psi on a evo 8 turbo. I,ll take that any day of the week. thought I,d just post that text file so anyone can see, and compare if they want. more fuel and more boost and I'm sure more power will be comming

This is the highest we have done on pumpgas on a stock VIII turbo (this one was even a 9.8cm housing) the previous dyno sheet was E85 on a 2005 VIII turbo.
Funny how much you lose in a "slight" misfire though. That dip right past peak power was actually knock free, broke up so lightly I could hear but not feel it. New plugs the next day and it was primo.

my turbo will boost more like the first dyno. Do 05 evo's have different turbine or compressor wheels? I sent the turbo off and had it fixed when I bought it several years ago maybe they slapped my housings on a 05 chra . I'm sure my 9.8 cm (after I ported it ) will easly outflow a stock 10.5.

2005 is the same as the 03-04 just has the larger turbine housing. If you get setup to log backpressure (or those numbers are the logged results) it would be interesting to see vs some stock 10.5 housings (or nearly stock 10.5 housings).
Mychailo logged a BBK not too long ago so we'd have a 10.5 with minor changes to the outlet as far as I recall over stock.

The text file is the logged file I loaded into VD to get the dyno graph, what Im hoping is someone with a logged file of a known 400 hp car (on a real dyno).Be it evoscan or whatever, will compare them. like mine went from 4933rpm to 5964rpm in 1 second. if thiers does about the same then I'm close. Or maybe someone will post a log, or just part of one (as long as it has time and rpm), if they have secrets, and I'll compare them. Oh yea I just remembered something when I sent that turbo off years ago they called my wife and asked her what the hell that turbo came off of, I just asked her to be sure, but they told her it was a ball bearing turbo, and a high dollar thing. I really didn't think anything of it because for all I knew at the time they all were, all I know is they charged me $600 and some odd dollars to put seals in the thing plus 180 for a new turbine wheel, took them almost a month, ever heard of that or were they just gouging me.
