This. If so, it's not really a Black anymore (or at most it's a highly modified Black). Of course with modification it's gonna make more power than advertised.

Moddified yes, but really it is still a Black - limited by the 82mm compressor and the 1mm smaller turbine wheel then a GT series. My car made the same horsepower as the highest HP HTA3582 SS .82a/r. and that makes me proud

That is pretty cool. I am also interested in seeing the turbine housing. Congrats on the record.

Mikey,

How much more power would you estimate the car would have made if you had it tuned on E85 with running the same amount of boost, etc.

Congrats on breaking the "FP Black HP World Record"

A few things real quick before they get asked.

No logs but the timing ramps up from 2* at 6k to 16* at 7k. We didnt expect it to do exactly what it did and since I am more worried about a turbo turning well over normal shaft speed, we didnt make a second attempt.

There will be no actual logs posted.

The limiting factor is the turbo not the motor.

Mikey's motor is more like a 10.5:1 motor, it has our custom spec cams which are no longer available. I feel very strongly though that a ported head on a motor like Mine or Mikey's can just use S3s and make the exact same amount of power. The only likely side effect is slightly slower spool. I will be testing the S3 in my car vs the ER2 that I have and Mike has.

The best part is S3s are always on the shelf, ER2 have 5 sets in 8 months that we could make out of billets...S3 through us or direct from GSC

I think the 2 biggest things that allowed the power are the cylinder head work which is more or less a hand ported recreation of the GSC CNC head and the GSC cams. Jeff M'fn Bush on the headwork and GregC at GSC...my hat is off to you gentleman.

So Aaron if one was to buy the GSC cylinder head and run GSC S3's it would be close to the head you and Mikey have?
