Putting in arp rod bolts will let you get more torque won't it?

I am done pushing this block, it runs great I still daily drive it and have no need for anything more out of this motor the gains are not worth the $ to go any further. I would like to keep this block around as a back up motor because a 2.4 is in the car's future around mid summer.

I think ARPs will help a little however in the end its going to be rod failure that would kill this motor, I turned it down a little from where it was for daily driving purposes though still have the option to switch back to the map. But as far as racing goes with local cars it doesn't really need much more than it has

Got ya...I'm impressed with your results, I too am on the stock block with a red, made 481/379 @28psi DJ but ran out of injector.
Will be throwing in some 1000's and jumping back on in a week or so...I should be able to hit my goal of 500+ then.

After making that comment Aeromotive gave me a call with some ideas to try looks like were going to be doing a few things to see what we can get out of their 340lph pump, I will be posting numbers again in a wk or so.

Which 1000s are you going with?

Looks like you will be pushing it even further then...very interested in the results.
I got a set of Precision 1k's...I currently have in their 780's (which were very easy to scale so I went back with Precision...not sure if that really makes a difference tho)
I'm running methanol also, which is why I could get away with that amount of power on only 780's
How much of a difference was the switch to SD for you?
