HKS 7460 + bolt ons and pump gas

recently had my car tuned, and here are the #s

06 IX RS
- HKS GTII 7460
- Cosworth M2s
- RC 1000cc
- AMS 3.5" FMIC + Injen LICP/UICP
- Megan o2, RRE TBE
- 4bar map, Grimmspeed 3port

on 94 octane, Airboy (a well known Canadian tuner in the Subaru community) had it spike 26psi and hold 23psi at 7,000rpm. i believe AFRs are low 11s, zero knock all around. this is at 3,500ft above sealevel.

i know the numbers seem very low, but here are what other cars lay down in comparison

looking at the torque curve compared to the v8 S4s, you guys weren't lying when you say it feels like driving a n/a V8. this outspools the stock turbo and holds boost better up top too i can't wait to see how it does at the road course in the summer

EDIT: here is my VD graph. all the parameters are entered to the best of my knowledge

Thanks for posting these curves. Does this dyno read low... sort of in the Mustang range? Do you have a dyno with boltons but stock 9 turbo?

i would have expected the 7460 to hold the 26psi all the way to redline.

Judging from the Audi S4 numbers, that is a stingy Dyno (3500 ft plays a part as well). I really like the look of your power delivery.

this dyno reads really low. my friend with a Evo X + HTA Green/bolt ons did ~330whp on our 94 octane.

its run in the standard mode, whatever its set to. i don't think there are any corrections for elevation though.

i bought this turbo knowing full well its not going to make a crazy amount of power. its the ball bearing longevity and response that had me sold

either way, i'm very happy with this turbo

EDIT: took off SAE correction and more smoothing

You may need to look at the wg and check tightness. It may help your boost issues.

i haven't had too much problems with surging. only when i'm trying to hold 8-12psi up hill for 3-5 seconds then it surges a bit. otherwise, it seems fine. thanks for the tip though

That is a nice spread of torque for the road

Loads of low down grunt to pull out of corners, just how we like a cars in th Uk
