should spool quicker then that, my black spools 30psi by 3700rpm on my 2.3.
-2* timing... why? that is completely destroying the power curve.. no need to remove torque the engines built.. give it proper timing. i bet it will make over 500wtq with the same boost.
18* uptop is nice though, bet the car pulls very nice uptop. the tq is what scared you btw. wait till you feel 500wtq+.. which i know you will eventually.

Tom, it is because it is 90* down here, and it is pulling -3* due to the timing trim vs IAT table... I could change that table but it is gonna get even hotter since it is only april... I will have to take it out at night and do a couple of pulls and see how it reacts...
I agree it is a bit lazy on the spool, I think it is at around 13.5 on spoolup right now, so I know I have to richen the whole map up about a full point until after peak torque... it is pretty lean during spool right now... which is killing it...

My setup is very comparable to yours, 2.4L/Black/etc, and I hit 30psi a touch before 4k rpm and taper to 27psi. Stock BOV atm, unfortunately. Plus I'm in Texas. No weather excuses
Very nice setup here, but there is a lot left in it!
Once I get my Synapse on it, it should be 32 tapering to 34-35. I expect to hit 32psi exactly at 4k rpm. It seems to me the peak of your boost curve, and consequently torque curve should be 3800-4000rpm.
Side note, any chance of posting pictures of your o2 housing? I've always been a fan of R/T Ernie's work.
