Mellon tuning and a few others also prove this.

Your comment adds zero value to my thread.
You people really need to chill out. Even if the MAF can take higher readings, it is still an obvious bottleneck. At 5.8k, the torque takes a steeper slope indicating decreased flow. I understand the torque curve is going to have a downward slope, but the rate of decrease, increases. That's not good.
Using a 4" SD intake will alleviate my problem and this discussion.
I think you guys are really misinterpreting each others intentions. I do not appreciate anyone coming in my thread and bashing other people. KevinD is the only reason my car is functional and producing the numbers it is. He is the guy I trust implicitly.

Stock transmission, stock transfer case, stock everything past the flywheel.
The previous owner put an evo 8 transmission in the car. It had a slight 5th gear grind before the rebuild, and now its slightly difficult to get into reverse and 5th. I think the internal gear selector is going bad since 5th and reverse share one. There won't be any hardcore shifts from 4th to 5th at redline until I build the transmission.

wow, lots of ignorance in here about the stock ecu/maf combination.
I went 139.8mph in the 1/4 lifting to shift in my full weight daily driven street car while it was spinning and bouncing 2 years ago. The software said 677awhp, the dynojet said 705awhp @ 38psi. Now it's showing 790awhp and 706tq at 46psi on the new 10:1 motor: I can't do 3rd gear pulls anymore for tuning, it burns the tires to the limiter. The car is rediculous on the street. details: http://www.mellonracing.com/index.ph...roducts_id=808

right, and my point was that your guys dyno numbers (dynojet in your case, and VDR), are significantly higher then our numbers. for instance, our drag car (full interior, full weight), went faster then you mellon, and it made only 575whp WITH a broken transmission that wouldn't go into 3rd or 4th. this car at 615whp with only 33psi makes similiar power to your 700whp attempt. you can see that adding boost isn't helping tremendously. and at near 800whp, i expect you to run low 9's like all the other 800whp cars
and if you cant keep traction, for gods sake buy a set of sticky tires

Ran a 9.9@140 full weight 2g GSX using a stock 2g maf which is smaller than a evo maf. He had over run and dsmlink switches to speed density at that point in the pull/run but the maf is still physically there.

put this on cbrd or buschurs dyno and i bet it barely hits 570 with a smoothing of 60.
