Evodynamics built and tuned 6262 2.3l

So let me start off by thanking KevinD for an awesome tune and all the time he has spent working on my car. From the 330whp I had stock to its current form.
Long story short, the motor went after a clutch install from a different local trans shop. Thrusted me into a build I wasn't ready for but enjoy very much now.... Kevin found bearings all in my oil so I decided to get a buschur racing short block. I was hoping the crank was good and could be kept a 2.0l to rev but it turned out Dave was uncomfortable in turning the crank. So 2.3l it was.
I originally wanted a stock frame turbo but got a great deal on a Boost Logic tubular off a member in Austin. So I decided on the 6262. Then I sold a ton of stock evo parts locally(injectors mostly) and funded some of the other parts for the build.

Heres a few parts pics and list i gathered over a 7 month span.

Buschur Racing 2.3l stroker
Buschur Racing battery tray
Buschur Racing double pumper
Boost Logic tubular t3 exhaust housing
Precision 46mm wastegate with open dumptube
Tial 50mm bov
Omni Power 4 bar map sensor
custom 4" intake with aem dry flow filter
Precision 1600cc injectors
Exedy twin hd clutch
cx-racing 4" intercooler
Kelford 272 cams
FP beehive valve springs
ETS short route uicp
EvoD custom licp
EvoD o2 housing
EvoD test pipe
EvoD oil lines
Arp headstuds
DEI titanium turbo blanket

this is the turbo kit all together and wire wrapped.

heres a pic of most if it all wrapped up in the car

and for kicks heres one of my "stock-ish" setup

fast foward to starting it. kevin and josh and richard all spent alot of time with a very tricky set-up. the boost logic manifold places the turbo much lower than the buschur/ams manifolds. thus making things fit very tightly, difficultly. the break in went great, tuning it had some issues that were easily resolved by kevin and the guys. the main issue was my car had 1 stock cat and 1 high flow cat(with the honeycomb in it) welded to my exhaust by the previous owner. causing issues at higher boost. cut that out got it running well on 27psi on 93 octane. then we went to the local e85 station for the real fun. at 30psi 3rd gear was like night and day between 93 octane. if anyone is on the fence about e85 still, GET IT! the closest station to me is 10miles away and i make the drive for the stuff. its incredible. anyways on to the numbers. finally sqaured away kevin wanted to push it a little higher on the boost but i wanted safety. so we setteled at 32psi on e85. on a local mustang dyno it ended up making 654AWHP 542AWTQ. still on a stock head, stock intake manifold, stock throttle body. so theres still power left in it with those mods and some more boost shall i decide to turn up the wick.

kevin thanks for everything you guys have done. i hope to see even more 600+whp cars getting pushed out.

you should list this is 4th gear and with weather correction factor on the dyno so others know, and that the dyno reads around 9-10% of a dynojet and up to 7% variation with wcf depending on temperature.

6262 is a bad **** though, we got 570 out of one on 89oct.. so you have yourself a crazy turbo all around.. one of the best low octane power making turbos ive seen so far.

cool pictures also.

yes this dyno is lower reading than the dynojets of course. weather correction was on, i think it was around 70-75 outside. maybe a little warmer.
