I think that was the dyno's brakes Pat, they shouldn't be touching yours to slow down the rollers.

I am curious to see what Mellon will say about such a swap. But, me I think that it is a horizontal move with negligible if any vertical gains. Kinda a waste of time to go from Kelfords to S2's.

im kind of asking for myself since ill be getting head studs and valve springs installed soon and would be considering switching to s2's if there is plenty of vertical gains to be had in the change.

I'm sure he will chime in soon but I doubt the swap will be worth it. Once the vdr read 400/400 I decided to stop so there was potentially a little more left in her. I based my choice of cams on the AMS cam shootout thread even though I think the older gsc's were being tested.

[QUOTE][/QUOT, E]

Do you have E85 nearby? Maybe you should consider a big jump in IC efficiency, such as a 4.0" Garrett core, speed density, COP, E85, an HTA Green and etc.

Yeah, you are right. It is the Garrett 3.8" core.

I suspect there would be some gains but it may not be worth the expense of a cam swap, re-tune etc...
