The blue line was Kenneth's attempt to tune around a severe false knock problem with the new 2.3 shortblock. Red is our tune. The new HKS cams are nice, pretty smooth idle and it made good power.

thanks guys, it's a shame we don't have e85 readily available here. I'd love to shoot for 500/500 on this car.

Nice results!

500/500 shouldn't be a problem on e85.

Would this make more HP with more boost or are there factors that kept the boost limited to 25psi?

it might make a little more tq but the power would be the same and it would be less consistent due to the heat. with e85 or race gas we could let it zing on up as high as it wants to go and make more power.

Thanks again Chris, the car is very responsive in the corners , feel more like a NA car. I plan to go E85 , its got to get here soon ??

I really want to see what this set-up does with 35psi !

Forgive my ignorance but couldn’t you have gotten more WHP? 430WHP seems very conservative for this setup. Shouldn’t there be like a 500FP spike as well?

Im not sure if you missed the part that said 93OCTANE or if you just dont know what your talking about but for 25psi on a 51lb/per-min turbo with this setup those are some good numbers. most FP Red and BLack users make 20-50whp more than that on 93 but at the same or higher boost levels and the Red & Black flow a lot more air..

If this was on e85 then hell yes you would see a 500+wtq spike for sure and above 500whp.

Memphis is about 10 years behind the rest of the country. I wouldn't be surprised if e85 never made it here. As an alternative you could pick up some c16 at BB&T which is just down the road from me
