Stock Block, FP Red, bolt ons Rnd 2

Just wanted to share my latest results with you guys...If you remember, this is where I left things in the original thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...d-boltons.html

Since then the only changes made to the car were:
-FIC1150's (thanks Aaron)
-FP 25psi WGA (thanks Sparty)
-SpoolinUp COP

@30psi (2psi less than before) 3rd gear

I would have pushed it even more, but being on the stock block I felt pretty satisfied with the results.

Took the car to the track this weekend and it was a bitter-sweet day for me.
sweet - I won the 11 second class with a best of 11.045@128.57mph w/1.61 60ft
bitter - The event was poorly organized and was running way behind schedule so I wasn't able to get anymore runs after elimination to try and go for that 10sec pass

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UV1vipU8uc

Maybe next time around I'll get this damn 10sec monkey off my back.

Special thanks to Craig, Adrian and all the guys from SpeedShop and LueBoyz Racing.

Impressive!!! What rpm are you launching at? Also, what tires are you using? My setup is about like yours except I'm running an 80mm red. I'm having trouble not bogging at 5500 and not blowing off the tires at 6k. I put down 430 on a dynojet with pump and 520 on E-85. I have 265/35/18 Hankook RS2 tires. I haven't made the 80 mile trip to the track yet.

Yup I'll definitely do that...no this was on a 50/50 mix of Q16 and 90oct pump just like in my original post.

My 2 step is set at 6300rpm building about 14psi...how much boost are you leaving the line with? and are you dumping the clutch at the light or preloading and rolling it out?

Thanks a lot for all the help and advice Aaron, really appreciate it.
I'm 100% sure there's a 10 in there, I had to be gauging the car so as to not breakout of my class.

I'm building between 12-14 psi with the 2-step at 6K. The tires end up spinning whether I slip the clutch or dump it. Obviously, if I slip it, it takes a little longer until they break loose. Once the clutch is engaged. It destroys tires. Sometimes I gets sideways in 2nd on the street. I'm running about 25 psi in the tires. I think another set of wheels with Hoosiers are needed.
