Is the loss down low atributed to the intake?

here's mine MAP ported and everything!

Wow thats HOT, how much of a difference does the porting make? Its already noticebly bigger than stock...

I just installed mine last week, no issues with fitting at all - excellent value for money: Skunk 2 intake + FB 70mm TB

Thanks!! Normally a good driver only needs 360-380hp on a dynojet to run 11's at 114-117mph. This guy can drive!!

I would say it's more to do with the weather since I "softened" spool to keep knock in check.

It took testing to make me a believer -- but a "lil birdie" told me that it wouldn't let me down...... Thanks Curt!!

So is this something different then what Buschur and STM tested? They got horrible results with that Intake Manifold how is this one any different. I just dont see how so many shops can get such vastly different results from the same product. And how much was the port job from MAP if the price of the intake manifold plus the port costs around $700 why not buy a magnus V5 that doesnt need porting

STM had gains according to Emery and Buschur did not test it. I will continue to use mine and compare graphs to others that are pathetic in comparison.

That would be awesome I was seriously considering this manifold due to price and the fact all of my friends build some high power hondas and had nothing but good luck with skunk2, keep the info coming!

I dont know how much a difference it makes since i didnt install it straight out the box, and as you can see the stock barbs have been ripped out in favor of threaded ones, the barbs it comes with are just pushed in , other than that it's an awesome piece, the V5 needs portwork and this one does also. Curt brown has had a crazy powerband on both the HTA GREEN and FP RED using this intake mani, if it's good eough for him it's good enough for me, just need few minimal mods and it's ready to go!
