So why does it need porting? Do the runners not line up with the head? Also, how can we be sure we are getting the most current version?

We never said it needs porting--- Only that porting makes them better.

Order a manifold through a Vender that knows what he's selling you, instead of who has the "cheapest prices".

im sure maybe you guys can squeeze another 7-10whp with a throttle body. these motors are really amazing on how much power they can make,. thanks alot!!

Same here. Just had mine done at Buschurs with my new engine build and it fit perfectly.

Agreed, this intake is a very underated piece that we finally starting to warm up to, bang for the buck - it probably ranks number 1...

I also chose it for a fatter midrange (switched from custom made plenum to this)

they get bashed for this manifold but its on backorder for the evo's....

My question is what are you guys doing with the egr port? Plugging? Letting it hit the IM?

Im lettting mine hit the mani. Its not going to matter. The heat transfer imho is not wortg considering.
