Evo 8, HTA green, bolt-ons

Needless to say I am happy! I know these read 10%-15% higher than a Mustang dyno, but I'm glad I made these numbers on it, my goal for this car was to run 10's and hit 500awhp with it. The little HTA green is hella fun on the street.
I mainly wanted to make sure I wasnt going past MBT on my car, and that everything was in check, and I made some good numbers too, so I am happy.
This was at FN Werks in Vegas, but Daniel from Church Automotive (out of Long Beach) ran the dyno for me and was awesome to work with. It was a fun night and glad to see I didnt have to tweak a ton. The blue is what I started with, the green is what I ended with.
32psi, 19 degrees of timing, my cars wbo2 says an average of high 11's or 12:1 afr's, its a good time to drive.
Next mod is an intake, as I'm still rocking the stock intake tube lol. Going to the track later this week, we shall see what it does!
quick rundown of big mods:

HTA green
ECMlink tuned by me
3.5 Neisi IC
ETS IC pipes
HKS SSQV
Comp 280 cams
Apexi filter
Spec exh. mani
Megan Racing o2 housing
3" downpipe/exhaust
1350cc FIC injectors
BR8es gapped to .20
Small battery
E85
Maybe some other small stuff Im forgetting right now

12:1 is getting lean for an Evo, and what's with the 'flywheel horsepower' y axis label?

The greens look like a lot of fun in a streetable package.

congrats on the #'s man, looks like a fun car to drive...along with the intake I would also recommend getting a better bov, like a Synapse. Those SSQV"s aren't known to hold that much boost very well.
Just my $0.02...Good luck at the track

Ya its a good time lol.

Not sure about the fw on the graph, but I do know this is in whp, and these the same graph 3 different ways that he printed off for me.

he's running e85, so 11.7-12.3 is the optimum afr range.

OP: i hope you mean 19 deg at peak rpm and not at peak boost.

Yes that's what I meant.

I had timing at 3* at peak torque, but I bumped it up to about 5* since I was making power until about 6*.

As for the afr's, anything leaner, it knocked, anything richer, it knocked. I found the sweet spot for afr's for my car it seems like.

Fun street/strip setup!

Thank you for the info, however this has held 36psi on my talon and many of blt's has held up just fine! No leaks here!

May want to consider dropping back down to 3 deg even if it means a bit of torque. 450 ft-lbs is definitely in the stock block danger zone.

I agree. This is my kill mode for the track, around town ill bring timing down a good 2* everywhere just to be safe probably.

is that too early of a hit for tq? I thought that it was a little later in this graph so its a little more safe

Its not too early for the torque hit, and the HTA Green powerband is shifted to a bit higher RPM compared to stock turbo, but 450-470 ft-lbs is still a challenge for the factory rods at any rpm. I'm at 3 degrees at 400 ft-lbs and feel like I'm rolling the dice when I go WOT. I'd be puckering in your car at 5 degrees. Liqquid busted a rod three days after he installed his HTA Green and tuned to a 500 ft-lb torque peak. I know there is at least one other person who killed their stock block with a 450+ ft-lb HTA Green tune.

my car made 360-395wtq on dyno dynamics for most of the time that I owned my BBK. It was right on the edge of sanity, but sooooo epic under WOT

Def keep it safe though, 3-4° is pleeeenty.
