Ryu's Evo IX 559whp/422wtq VD 93oct (sponsored by MAPerformance)

I'm happy to say, my car is finally back to do work. First I would like to thank Chris and his team at MAPerformance, the shortblock they assembled and the head port work are both spot on. Now on to the data.

Mods:
Hta3582 w/.63 Tial hotside
MAPerformance stage 2 2.0L 10:0:1 compression
MAPerformance stage 3 headport

Supertech stock size valves
ARP L19 Headstuds
Walbro 255lph
Exedy Triple HD
Devo Tuning Driveshaft
Tial 38mm Wastegate
1450cc FIC Bluemax injectors

I have two VD sheets posted below. The first one is the results of the new setup @24psi creeping to 27.5psi up top due to my 38mm wastegate. I'd like to note that this is my wastegate pressure, the lowest boost my car is able to run .

Since dyno numbers in itself aren't always as relevant without a known comparison, I have overlayed the 93oct results of this new motor with a VD graph I have from last year when the car went 9.96 @139.83mph on the factory motor. Needless to say, I can't wait to get the car back on Metanol and high boost.

Does this motor have the longer rod or stock length?

Cant wait to see it at the track. Are you going to put it on E85 or just see what you can do on pump first?

Thanks guys.

Aaron, I mainly tuned the car on pump to verify that the car was running 100% with a flawless assembly. The tuning process was fairly quick since the car is on wastegate, so no time added for adjusting boost etc. I have no current plans to run E85 as of yet. I will be tuning the car on 100% methanol injection in a few weeks on high boost. The car should make it back to the track late next month when I'm able to get a set of slicks for my track rims. I'll probably run the car on wastegate/ pump gas first to see what it does, then turn on the methanol setup and shoot for a 9.7.

Thanks Tom. I'd be happy to upgrade, but for some reason on the newer versions of VD I seem to be having an issue with it downloading the vehicle files.

ah hm.. if you want me to remote into your pc ill fix it for you. or you can try to:

delete your current vd then do this.

go to into program files and delete Pnuema Productions folder. dont think you'll need to clear registry files.. but if you want me to help you get it working just pm me.
