^^ you must not be on here much, not to know who English Racing is.....Although i have no personal experience with them, they come across extremely knowledgeable and customer oriented.

BR does not do balance shaft in his motor at least in the 4G63. Not sure about the 2.4L
If you were to go to a 2.4, I don't see any reason why you have to take the balance shaft out. You're not going to spin it any higher than 7500rpm.
When was the last time anybodys seen a balance shaft belt broke ?
Before you listen to those telling you you can't even feel the difference between balance shaft and no balance shaft, go and drive a car without it before making your decision. This is especially important if you going to log a lot of miles in it.
I've a 2.3 without balance shaft for the last 5 years... my biggest regret of all the mods I've done.

Not to here to start any beef or shop drama, since Dave and I are friends. Just want to make sure its clear who we are and what we do.

We dont list motors because we dont want someone ordering something they think they want and not really be happy with it. It has been general practice for us for the last 2 years to want to talk to our customers on the phone or via email about their goals and usage of the car so we can advise the best motor combo possible.

Whether you had heard of us or not is irrelevant and not an issue to me. We are very public, post our results, and put together some fairly crazy builds. If you want to know more we have plenty of threads in this part of the forum, the turbo/drivetrain forum, sales, and of course our home the Pacific Northwest forum down near the bottom of the main page.

Thanks

Aaron

I can vouch for English racing and the incredible work they do. Definately going to go to them when I get back to the states to build a 2.4. Nothing but smiles when leaving their shop
