On a 9, is an adjustable exhaust cam gear going to be of any benefit with these cams?

Not that I have seen know. Properly mapped MIVEC is far more important than the exhaust cam gear. If it were on a 2.4 or 4G64 block at any rate then yes, otherwise not so much.

Awesome. Ill be pulling the trigger on the s2's next week. Just got the skunk2 intake mani looking for some impressive gains from this round of mods up top.

Sweet test! I remember years ago slapping a set of hks280's and seeing awesome gains on my stock 8 turbo on pump gas...I love living in the future

they were good cams back in the day when not much was available but like any platform with as much aftermarket support we cant help but get better parts for cheaper nowadays. I spent almost 100 less on my s2 cams then my hks 272 cams.....other then somewhat normal drivability with the hks 272 cams, the s2s out shine it, just with these cams my car hates retarded drivers in stop and go traffic haha

Are you guys offering the S2R for sale?
On another note, isn't the HKS exst 3"? why do you think it's choking the car?

The HKS exhaust shortens to 2.5" at the flanges I believe. It's a bottle neck at each flange.

I changed my HKS Hi-Power w/ resonators for a Greddy Full Ti 3" (no resonator) and noticed impressive gains on the butt dyno.

Got my cams today. Gonna put the springs and retainers in tomorrow. Hope to see 30 + myself.

do you have any graphs that would have s2 to s3? I think my kelfords are pretty close to the s2 but I would be curious about the gain with the s3s.
