Just wanted to say many thanks to the English Crew!! yet again they go above and beyond.
Special thanks to Lucas!! He has picked my car up from my house twice now.. and im over 3 hours from English, his no hype advice is great and thats what i like. To Aaron for his legendary tuning skills! You rock.
And then for Myles for dealing with all my questions and emails great customer service !!

With this car i debated for a long time what i wanted, i love the kick of fast torque like a stock turbo set up. This car came with a turbo kit , i wanted to go with a stock frame style (prob FP green) but then i knew i could not really turn up the wick up with out always worrying about ventilating the block. So i thought i love that low down power and i like the fast responce, why not go with the very successful English 2.4LR and see what this turbo can do. So thats why i did it. I will prob end up changing this turbo set up down the line..... it does have a super mean sound thou, with this dump on it.

When i did some mods earlier this year with this car we decided to give the S3's a try, they are great and if i was running after a high number i would have kept them but i opted for moving my power more to the left of the graph.
Where did you buy this evo...auction...? I know the original owner (Wally). I can tell you most of what you want to know about the car before you bought it if you have any questions. He traded it in to my Audi dealership with a blown motor (compliments of IllTech) and then it went to auction. BTW I installed a ETS supervalue 30r kit on this car about 2 years ago. Congrats on an awesome motor and new powa via ER!

Are you sure about that Rammy?

EDIT- Confirmed with ETS that it is a super value 3076 kit. Mods can I get the title changed to 30R from 35R please?

thanks

Aaron

Was going to say that a gt35r is no where near done at that power but i see you found it was a 30R.
Here are my graphs of my 2.4LR , Gt35R, 29psi, 93 Pump.

Bit more to come, reckon 630atw is possible.

That's actually exceptional power for a standard 35R. We have been doing this long enough to see where the normally tap out. The thing that was odd about this is it spools a little later than I would suspect with a 30R.

Our best on a 2.0L with a standard 35R is 609 (E85)
Best on a 2.4L was 633 (C16)
I believe the best I know of is Curt Brown is 650whp (C16)

I was going to say, those are killer #'s for a 30r! Wouldnt expect anything less from ER stroker and tuning though! It is a std 30r too. Glad to see my FREE install work is putting down some great #'s. Havent driven it since I installed the kit.

Spec is everything when trying to get every HP out of a turbo.Mine is no "typical" build. 520WHP is where i would see a gt30 topping out. Perhaps it's a 3082/3065?
I think a 3582HTA would be a good match for this car, 640whp would be possible on pump.

Unless the turbo was changed out from when I initially installed it, it was a standard 30r option from ETS.

A 30R should top out between 550-575awhp with the right mods. The 30r is a way under rated turbo.

I agree with Brian for what it can do, but it should also spool faster than it is on a MIVEC 2.4 I would think. I realise its an HTA3076 I am going to compare, but Spencer spools at 4k with is on a 2.0L DSM.

520whp is on pump with safe timing on a normal gt30.
This one does sound laggy.

Yeah I knew it had to be a 30R...Maybe a turbo issue...?
