JDM Evo 8 Stock Turbo 330HP
Hi all!
So I had my car tuned before and I thought it was a hell of a tune until I contacted Tom (tscompusa). After seeing all of these threads with cars he's tuned keep popping up I decided I would make him look over my tune and re-tune the car as I was planning to tune again soon anyway. I don't really want to call names or anything with the old tuner but if you really want to know you can PM me.
The car has a very small parts list (you can see in my signature). It's a stock 8 turbo with the 9.8 hotside + I live in the Cayman Islands so the lowest the temperature gets around here is like 77-80 degrees unless a cold front comes in or something.
Here is the graph over laying the old tune.
This was done at 27PSI on 93 octane (which is most likely a lower octane than what you get in the US). We aren't quite finished yet, he can still add some timing up top to make up for that power drop up high vs the old tune. We will finish that up this week.
The car feels 100% better, it's amazing!!! We did gain like 50TQ! LOL. I recommend Tom to anyone! We did all of this in like 2 days also, I was impressed at how fast we could get so much done. And I work from 8am-5pm also lol.
Plans are to buy an ETS 3.5 inch core and their upper piping. After that I will most likely buy MAP's short runner manifold and put on an Evo IX turbo that I have sitting in my room. Once I get that set up tuned I will be purchasing some GSC S2's with springs and retainers. Hope to get this baby up to 400+!
