IDCs were in the high 90s, almost 100%, but the AFR was also on the rich side. With some cleaning up to more sane AFRs, it should be around 90% at this same boost level.

base pressure is 3 bar, and 4+ bar is always an option.

Peak Power already long gone by 8k. Why do people not understand this?

Plus this allows him to upgrade to a larger turbo which can utilize a powerband at later RPMs and not have to rebuild the engine.

As long as the engine can stay somewhat close to peak WHP in the higher RPM, then is preferable to take advantage of the lower gear and maximize torque multiplication which yields higher rate of acceleration. That's why making the power run last past peak WHP is beneficial in providing information for the optimal shift point for the any particular set up......

Wil the id2000 be a better decision for pump gas?

I understand the peak power is long gone by 8k, hence the reason he is shifting when he does. Then again, I didn't ask why he wasn't revving it out further either...

This power should be capable of a decent 1/4 mile time. Any guesses?

At what boost does the FP black shines?

I am a little frustraded with my FP black. On my subaru at 26psi on E85 is making 480whp dyno jet, I know they are different platforms . Down low it looks just like the OP's power curve, I hit 20psi at 4000rpm 3rd gear

Yeah. I was running it on pump gas around 28psi and while it felt good on the 2.3L it was still too much of a dog. Now with my black dead, I got a new DBB Red. Should produce a nicer powerband for my autox needs.
