tscompusa win!! 382whp/377qtq VD, stock viii turbo!
I posted a thread before after finishing my pump gas tune with Tom, that was a few months back. I was very impressed with the car and his tuning when we were finished!
Soo contacted him last weekend and told him I wanted to do a race gas map because our 1/8 (thats supposed to be closed for good) was opening this weekend and I want to try and run as best as I can. Got some gas and started tuning with Tom on Wednesday, I could feel the difference on the base map. We didn't do anything Thursday night but started again Friday night.
Tom replied to me very fast tonight and everytime I thought we were done he knew the car had more in it, and let me tell you, he squeezed EVERYTHING out of this poor 9.8 VIII turbo LOL. We did like 17 pulls to get it to this level, feels GREAT! can't wait to run this weekend!
I think this is amazing power, considering it's so hot down here (80+deg) it was about 85deg tonight. This is a VIII 9.8 turbo, + I am on stock cams! Here is the VD graph:
Mod List:
HKS Intake
Hallman PRO
Walbro 255lph
ETS 3.5" Intercooler
3" Titanium Exhaust
MAP LICP + ETS UICP
Synapse Synchronic DV
ACT 6-Puck Clutch + ACT Prolite Flywheel
MAP 3" Re-Circ V-Band Downpipe + Test Pipe
Thanks Tom!!!

thanks for sharing AJ. I tried to extract every last drop of power for sure.. 17 power pulls.. (2hr tuning session). car kept taking timing.. the jdm 8 head is definitely not the same as usdm evos. took a crapload of timing!
car looks great as always. for being on a sticky island 85F or so i think these numbers are really nice. ill admit, i had to work for them though.
stupid server crashed heres the graph again:

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY, i have been waitin for a thread to be able to compare my build to so i could get a rough idea of wat i may be making after my tune. Now, the only difference is ill b running a 10.5 8 turbo, and e85, hopin i can get the same results or maybe a little better

Thanks. Yesterday would have been perfect for a time because it was like 80 degrees, that's about as cool as it will get until around Winter, it was a rainy day though.. We have an 1/8 mile actually not a 1/4..
In the next 2 months I will have on my IX turbo and MAP ported stock mani, I wanted to crack 400whp on VD when I got cams but looks like I may be able to do it a bit sooner!

Oh ok haha no problem man just trying to help ya out. To some people the hks280's aren't much of a cam anyways lol.
To the OP, yeah ive pondered doing a IX turbo myself but i just can't bring myself to do the labor for the horsepower i think i would rather get a BBK or something similar because im lazy lol. She should sing pretty good down the 1/8! You should be over 400 easy with the set up you have no +cams but the IX and manifold would likely do the same. Good luck bro!

It's an HKS Kansai bumper, came with the car from Japan. I do plan to get an EF3 from MAP maybe beginning of 2013.. I should have GSC S2s, map ported mani and this evo ix turbo on by Sept/Oct hopefully!
