Checked some things out I did find that one of the vacuum lines had popped off, i have all of them zip tied except this one and after finding it i tied it on there.

pulled the intake off and the turbo is fine.

One big thing i noticed tonight is that my Hallaman MBC is literally backed all the way out. like where i had it set was less than a quarter turn away from completely backed all the way out.

Im going to try running straight wastegate pressure and see what that does, ill hook up a vacuum line straight from the J-pipe's outlet to the WGA.

Maybe this will be the push to make me run a compound boost control method of a MBC and EBC inline like that FP turbo'ed car?

Any updates?
Im from Tucson. And Im thinking stock frame turbo with the FP 71HTA. I would like to get to 500hp on E85.
Tell Phuong to hurry the hell up!

I am also planning a 2.3 L 10.5:1 build. But if the car is down and I can get the turbo upgraded.. hell why not. I just want to see how your car responds.

give it a little time. he's on a summer tune right now so no need to be going for huge numbers.

Wow, that's crazy response, and all on 10.5:1... The magic of e85 I guess.
I've got a mess of darn near brand new name brand EBC's that I need to get rid of. Shoot me a PM if interested and I'll explain.

If your looking for 500 just go with a HTA Green and get it in Ball bearing.

I am sure the HTA Green will give me way past 500whp/wtq.
I am looking at getting a less expensive solution to my problem. Besides the fact, that I wouldn't want to get past the 500wtq limit of the drive train.
I guess the idea would be that the 71HTA would limit the amount of power I would be able to make with the setup.

Not many setups make much past 500whp on the HTA Green. and your not going to make over 500wtq unless its on a stroker 2.3 or 2.4 motor. and even if that was the case you can tune for lower torque very easily. Your better off to give yourself some head room and tune more conservatively than to push it hard to make 500.

I just personally dont think 500whp is easily within reach with this turbo for most setups which is why i recommend the Green.
