Disappointing tune?!

Ok so I'll keep this simple..I had my car tuned yesterday in the nj area n I don't want to name or bash any tuners that's not why I'm on here..but my mods list is as follows:

Map Ef3 ported with 18psi wastegate
Gsc s1 cams
Jmfab manifold
Map o2 housing
Fic 850cc
Walboro 255 fuel pump
Megan raceing downpipe
Custom made test pipe
Injen intake
Injen upper n lower ic piping
Turboxs bov
Ets 3inch intercooler

Ok so my questionis...my tune came out to be 390hp and 347lb/ft of torque on 93oct. My goals were 450 but as u can see I didn't evn break 400..this was on a dynojet too by the way. Not a mustang dyno. And with a turbo that's rated much higher. So I woulda thought 400 would have been achievable. The tuner didn't really ask my goals or talk to me at all so I'm a little unenthused but I'm not here to bash. Should I be disappointed? Or are these numbers on par for my mods??????

I think the numbers you get is very low compare to what you have on your car. I am not an expert but this is why I think like that:

I nearly have the same mods-on on my car as you do, except EF3 and cam. I have EF2 and don't have cam, but my car makes 380ish even with intake manifold leaks and with 91 oct. My car is at COBB plano now and I will get it next week (hopefully). I will let you know what my car makes next week.

Cheer up, brother!

I bet I could guess who tuned it.

Anyways, was the car prepared prior to tuning? Boost leak, Exhaust Leaks, fresh plugs, fresh gas, etc...

Then from there did you question the "Tooner"as to why the car is down on power? If they have no answer to that question find a new tuner and tell everyone about your exp.

Lol thanks! Yea it's disappointing n so I'm strongly considering getting another tune from a different shop..I had felt very confident in breaking at least 400 too :-/

yeah your numbers are very low considering i have very compareable mods but on the STOCK turbo @25psi and put down 380whp/340wtq on a dynojet.
i remember after i installed cams my idle was horrible and stalling at lights ESP with AC on and my tuner had a specific map for my kelfords and flashed my car before we even turned it on and VOILA startup was perfect idles at 1000-1100 with ac on or off. your problem is definitely a tuner related situation, and with the amount of boost youre running you should be making your goal power levels with more advanced timing and even less boost. Im guessing your tuner didnt adjust timing and just ghetto tuned and added more boost to "make power" but in reality with your mods you could be making the same power on the stocker :/ i would highly suggest take your car to another more reputable tuner!

If you don't mid a lil drive. See one of these guys

PeteyTurbo@KHC https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/me...turbo-khc.html

CBRD https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/me...9213-cbrd.html

Both tune on Mustang Dynos but both we'll get you where you need to be man. And actually explain what they are doing with your car

I'm feeling I'll prolly def go to chad. I was goin to go to him to begin with but the drive was long but I decided screw it lol. Yea it's a mustang dyno but evn 350 on a mustang dyno still comes out to like 410 on a dj I think..not a 100% sure with that they Re confusing
