Road Course Tune at CBRD Speedfactory 2.15.2013
2006 Evo IX MR
I'll be attending my first ever open track day at NJMP Thunderbolt on Feb 23rd, 2013, so I decided to freshen up the car a bit.
I've been going to CBRD for many years and I've always received fantastic service and their work has been excellent.
They just moved into their new facility with is now 16,500 sqft and is absolutely beautiful. It's a dream to any motor head. You must head out to York, PA and check it out.
I decided to upgrade and move away from my Forge Manual Boost Controller over to ECU controlled boost with a Pierburg 3 port boost solenoid. I also upgraded my OEM diverter valve to a Cobb BPV since my stock valve is 6 years old and there's nothing wrong with a better performing unit. I also had brand new OEM spark plugs and OEM spark plug wires installed, along with having a compression test done.
The car feels great and makes good power while being safe for the road course. She felt great on the 3 hour drive home from York, PA to Northern Jersey. Awesome midrange throttle response and power. She just goes.
I crossed the 108,000 mile mark on my way home!

Here's a crappy iPhone shot of my dyno sheet. I'll scan it in at work on Tuesday.

Very nice. The guys at CBRD are top notch. They recently did my bbk full setup and they are all about the details. Cant wait to check out their new shop. Enjoy the ride.

Am I reading the dyno plot correctly if I say that the turbo is spooling almost exactly (if not exactly) as stock?
Should I determine spool by the point on the boost curve where the slope is almost zero?
