Strictly Modified Built & Tuned Front Facing 6262 Evo 8 Stock Block!
This has build has been a long time coming with more ups and downs than an elevator sees in one day... Between the car and my personal life, I thought I was going to rip out all my hair, but I would like to thank a couple people for helping me keep it together:
Eric V & Crew of Strictly Modified - Without these guys, this build would never have happened or been completed. Whether I was irritated with the car or my personal life, these guys and made sure that I was happy. I, honestly, can not thank these guys enough.
Ronnie & Jesse of JDL Auto Design - These guys are stand up guys. They may not stay to timelines, but the make one hell of a product and don't give up until the customer is 110% happy. I spend many hours on the phone with Ronnie and the level of service I received was amazing. I cannot stress how amazing the welds and everything about this front facing kit is, seriously, go buy their stuff NOW!
Mark S of APM Tuning - I still owe this guy $150 from something I bought months ago... Don't worry Mark, I haven't forgotten you, once I find time to make it out by you I will stop by and you will be paid. Aside from that, I needed parts quick and not only did he give me some amazing prices, but I'm pretty sure I had everything next day. Again, a great guy and glad to see people like this in the industry still.
There are many others that helped along the way, but these guys went above and beyond each and every time I talked to them or needed anything. I solute all of you guys!
Now, on to the good stuff!
I was on the dyno yesterday and I am still shocked to see the results. I thought it would have sank in by now, but I still can't believe it. I'm not one to get hooked on numbers, but I really wanted to see 500whp and boy was on surprised! We only had to do a couple pulls and here is why I was surprised...
Uncorrected Graph:
SAE Corrected Graph:
Off the street the car made 503whp and 390wtq at a mere 26psi. The AFRs were low 11s and timing conservative. I was grinning pretty big at this time! We decided to simply turn the boost up a little for the next pull and the car made 534whp and 415wtq at 28psi. I was grinning ear to ear. I didn't feel a need to go any further, although I am sure the car had plenty left in it since the AFRs and timing were the same, all we changed was boost. I wanted 500whp and got an extra 34whp, so I said we were done. We also smelled a little bit of clutch, so I'd rather wait until I go to a new clutch to try to push it more anyway.

I haven't been able to really enjoy the car for the last 2 years, so I want to actually drive it for a bit haha. However, I plan to build the motor, trans and tcase over the winter. I'm looking to do a LR2.4 and just have a bad as pump gas street car. I will do e85, but only for track use. Otherwise, as I said, I just want to be able to enjoy the car. I like that while the car is making power, it isn't an aggressive tune, which makes me feel comfortable.

Oh boy!
Great numbers man, you deserve that car for sure!
Stop by (when your not busy one of these days) for some gaggles and show off the ride!
HUGE props to the guys over at SM! I know they had some headaches but the time put in is always worth it. SM guys guys can really pull off some nice clean builds and this is yet another example!

Went to pick up the car today and came to this pleasant surprise...
All my shiney parts that weren't so shiney anymore were all polished up! Strictly Modified also went through and cleaned up the engine bay quite a bit, since it was all dusty and dirty. Since the car is a toy and not a dd, I plan to keep it this way!
